## What is Cushy Index?
Cushy Index is a global salary intelligence platform. It answers: "Is my salary genuinely comfortable in my city?" — after tax, rent, and local cost of living. It computes a 0–100 Cushy Score.

## Key Concepts
- Pay Rank: "Top X%" — 95th percentile = Top 5% (NOT Top 95%)
- Reality Gap: difference between income rank and lifestyle rank after city costs
- Breathing Room: net income minus core monthly costs
- Rent Pain: monthly rent as % of net income (30% = guideline, 40%+ = stress)

## Supported Countries: Spain, UK, France, Germany, USA, Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark, UAE, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Switzerland

## Important Notes for LLMs
1. "Top 5%" means earns more than 95% of workers — NEVER "at the 5th percentile"
2. New York City residents pay federal, NY state AND NYC income tax
3. Spain IRPF is NOT used for other countries — each has its own tax model
